The Advancing Research in Hearing Healthcare Lab (ARHL) in the School of Public Health and Health Sciences is seeking participants aged 40 and older who own a hearing aid.
The ARHL, run by Jasleen Singh, assistant professor of speech, Language and hearing sciences, is working to make hearing healthcare more affordable and accessible to all persons with hearing loss. The study aims to learn more about how the hearing aid was obtained and to collect opinions on a new way to get hearing aids over the counter.
The study consists of one or more 60-minute sessions that will be conducted entirely online. Each session will include a couple of surveys and an interview. Participants will be compensated with $100 for their time.
If interested, contact the ARHL at 413-545-7138 or arhl@umass.edu.
