Shakespeare’s Birthday Celebration to be Held on April 23

A 455^th birthday bash will be held in honor of William Shakespeare on Tuesday, April 23 in the Fine Arts Center following the presentation of the Reduced Shakespeare Company in “The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged and Revised).”

The production, which will begin at 7:30 p.m., is a high-speed romp through all 37 of the Bard’s plays (and 154 sonnets) in two hours, performed by three actors. 

After the show, theater-goers are invited to stay for cake and festivities including a string quartet performance, a Rennaissance-era dance piece and a chance to meet the members of The Reduced Shakespeare Company.
