Roberts Joins Public Administration Review Editorial Board

Alasdair Roberts, director and professor at the School of Public Policy, has been named to the editorial board of “Public Administration Review,” the journal of the American Society for Public Administration.

Roberts has published extensively in the journal, including, over the past year, the papers “Should We Defend the Administrative State?,” “The Third and Fatal Shock: How Pandemic Killed the Millennial Paradigm,” “Who Should We Count as Citizens? Categorizing People in Public Administration Research” and “Dysfunction by Design: Trumpism As Administrative Doctrine,” coauthored with Donald Moynihan of the McCourt School of Public Policy at Georgetown University.

Roberts writes extensively on problems of governance, law and public policy. He is the author of eight books, including “Strategies for Governing,” “Can Government Do Anything Right?” and “Four Crises of American Democracy.”

He is a fellow of the National Academy of Public Administration and a former editor of the journal “Governance.”
