Registration Open for Second Discussion in Series on Generative AI Tools’ Potential Impact in Higher Education

The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) and the Instructional Design, Engagement and Support (IDEAS) group invite the UMass Amherst campus community to join the discussion “ChatGPT and Generative AI Discussion Group: How Do I (Re)design Assignments and Assessments in an AI-Impacted World?” on Friday, Sept. 15 from 11:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m.

The discussion is the second in an ongoing series exploring questions about the potential impact of generative AI tools in higher education. The discussion series focuses on how AI might transform teaching practices and sharing our experiences in navigating students’ use of such tools in courses.
