Psychological and Brain Sciences Holds Holiday Raffle for Charity
The department of psychological and brain sciences (PBS) is raising money for two local organizations; DIAL/SELF Youth and Community Services and Heroes, Horses and Hounds; by holding a raffle for several holiday gift baskets and gift certificates. Raffle ticket revenues will be split evenly between these two charities.
Basket themes include UMass merchandise, sports tailgating, wine and chocolate, arts and crafts fun for kids, pampered pet, and relaxation time.
Ticket prices for baskets are $1 for one ticket and $10 for 12 tickets. Gift certificate tickets are $2 for one ticket and $5 for three tickets.
Tickets can be purchased and selections made in the fourth-floor lobby of Tobin Hall from Dec. 2 through 9 during normal business hours.
The raffle drawing will take place on Monday, Dec. 9 during the PBS holiday celebration held in the fourth-floor lobby of Tobin Hall, starting at 11:45 a.m. While you do not need to be present to win a basket, participants are encouraged to join department members to see if they are holding a lucky ticket.
