Psychological and Brain Sciences Holding Holiday Raffle for Charity

The department of psychological and brain sciences (PBS) is raising money for two local organizations, Foster Dignity and the Franklin County Regional Dog Shelter, by holding a raffle for several holiday gift baskets. Revenue will be split evenly between the two charities.

Basket themes include UMass PBS merchandise, New England sports, wine and chocolate (age 21 and over), arts and crafts fun for kids, pony ride, it’s all fun and games, and a taste of India.

Raffle tickets are $2 for 1; $5 for 3; and $10 for 10.

Tickets can be purchased and selections made in Tobin Hall 440 and 441. Opportunities to view the baskets in the fourth-floor lobby will be announced on the PBS Facebook page.

The raffle drawing will take place on Dec. 13 during the PBS holiday celebration held in the fourth-floor lobby. You do not need to be present to win, but participants are encouraged to join department members for the drawing. Baskets must be claimed by Dec. 21.

Foster Dignity https://friendsofchildreninc.org/programs/foster-dignity/ helps to support children and young people for are in the foster care system and whose needs exceed what the foster care system provides.
