Planned Maintenance: SPIRE and Other IT Services Unavailable on Jan. 12, 6 to 10 p.m.
On Thursday, Jan. 12, from 6 to 10 p.m., SPIRE, the student information system, UMass Amherst email services (Microsoft and Google), campus internet connectivity (eduroam and wired access), virtual private network (VPN), and other services will be unavailable while UMass Amherst Information Technology (IT) performs planned service maintenance. This maintenance is necessary to ensure the smooth operation of university services during the spring 2023 semester.
Since email will be impacted, campus community members are encouraged to sign up for UMass Alerts if they have not done so already. UMass Alerts will notify those enrolled via text message in the event of an unrelated campus emergency.
