Participants Needed for Water Conservation Study
An undergraduate research team, working under the direction of Justin Fermann, chemistry, are seeking participants for a study looking at water usage and time spent in showers to facilitate water conservation in the public.
All are welcome to participate in the study and will be asked to use an active intervention device that is temporarily installed on the showerhead and has a visual timer tracking the length of the shower and how much water is being used.
Interested participants should complete the interest form.
The undergraduate researchers, Radha Dave and Meg Davis, are members of the Integrated Concentration in Science Program (iCons) and received a grant from Sustainability, Innovation and Engagement (SIEF) fund in 2019 for this project.
