Participants Needed for a Driving Safety Research

Adults 21 to 65 are needed for an online survey study, conducted by researchers in the Human Performance Lab, on the use of adaptive cruise control (ACC) in their vehicles.

Researchers at UMass Amherst are seeking participants who have recently (within six months) bought or leased a vehicle equipped with Adaptive Cruise Control. Eligible participants should also have a valid U.S. driver’s license.

What you will have to do:

  • Complete surveys online over six months
  • 24 weekly surveys six monthly surveys

Make two in-person visits to the Human Performance Lab (UMass Amherst)

  • First visit - Beginning of the study
  • Second visit - End of study, after six months

Participants will be paid up to $210 for participating.
