Participants Needed for Child and Adolescent Physical Activity Study

The Physical Activity and Health Lab in the department of kinesiology seeks children and adolescents 1.5-17 years old to be a part of a research study to assess physical activity measurements using accelerometer technology.

Participants will be asked to conduct their normal, everyday activities while wearing two activity trackers and being recorded by a video camera.

The lab’s research staff will travel to meet the participants and work around their schedules. Four 1-hour sessions are required per the schedule below. Participants will receive a $20 Target Gift Card for full participation.

Requirements:

  • Session 1: Home
  • Session 2: Playground/sports/activity class
  • Session 3: Community/club/work
  • Session 4: School/library
