Office of Research Development Offers Online Info Session on Applying to LIRA Program

The Office of Research Development (ORD) will present information on applying to the Large-scale Integrative Research Awards (LIRA) program and navigating the new web-based submission platform, InfoReady, on Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 1-2 p.m. via Zoom.
The LIRA Program was established by the provost and vice chancellor for Research and Engagement in coordination with the chancellor. Its goal is to empower creativity; to promote equitable collaborations, especially those that foster diversity, equity, and inclusion; and to attract substantial external funding.
LIRA will offer seed funds totaling up to $400,000 to support integrated team efforts to develop large-scale initiatives. Preference is given to projects that address large-scale societal problems with potential for significant impact.
Applications will be accepted starting in early March. For more information about LIRA and info session registration, visit the Research Administration and Compliance website.
