Office of Research and Engagement Announces Spring Semester Trainings and Workshops

The Office of Research and Engagement, in collaboration with the Controller’s Office and Accounting and Finance systems, has announced its online Spring 2025 Research Administration Training program, which starts the week of Jan. 27 and runs through the month of April.

Registration is currently open for all trainings and is available through the Workplace Learning and Development Workshops updated website under the Research and Engagement category. Trainings consist of three areas and are available via Zoom.

  • Core Trainings: A comprehensive overview of research administration for new staff, as well as members of the campus community looking for a refresher, will be broken down into six core topic sessions that will be presented by various content experts.
  • Kuali Proposal Development: A three-workshop series that will cover basics, budgeting and advanced budgeting.
  • PRO Series: A companion to the Core program that will focus on specific topics with a greater level of detail.
