Start Your Summer: Resilient Faculty, Sustainable Careers” is a four-day mini-series of morning workshops (May 24-27) for faculty to reflect, set priorities, learn tools for time management and engage in summer planning. Hosted by the Office of Faculty Development (OFD), each optional session offers a different opportunity to focus on own productivity goals, practice new strategies and look ahead. UMass Amherst faculty are welcome to attend any or all of the workshops.

Day 1 - Monday, May 24, 9:30–11:30 a.m.

Day 4 - Thursday, May 27, 9:30–11:00 a.m.

Identify Your Needs & Expand Your Mentoring Network

At this session you will clarify your career goals and challenges, develop an enriched map of your mentoring network, and identify strategies to expand your network.

In addition to the “Start Your Summer” workshops, the Office of Faculty Development is hosting the "Writing Wednesdays in June” series, (every Wednesday in June, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.) to support connection and spur productivity as faculty begin their summer writing routines. These two-hour virtual writing sessions offer dedicated time and facilitated support for faculty to focus on scholarly writing in the company of colleagues. Faculty are welcome to attend any or all of these morning writing sessions in June.
