The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) is now accepting online proposals for the 2025-26 Mutual Mentoring Grant Program. The deadline for submission is March 3, 2025.

Tenure track faculty, non-tenure track faculty and librarians on continuing appointments are eligible to apply and are encouraged to attend the Mutual Mentoring Grant Information Session, offered via Zoom from 10-11 a.m. on Feb. 4, to learn about grant requirements and submission guidelines.

OFD’s Mutual Mentoring Grant program supports UMass Amherst faculty and librarians at any career stage who seek to develop robust professional networks with mentoring partners within and/or outside the UMass Amherst campus over the course of one year.

OFD offers both micro, up to three people, and larger team grants. Micro-grants of up to $1,500 are offered to individual UMass Amherst faculty/librarians to conduct a mutual mentoring project and can involve up to two additional people who are within or outside of UMass Amherst.

Team grants of up to $6,000 are offered to teams of four UMass Amherst faculty members/librarians to conduct a mutual mentoring project and can involve additional team members who are within or outside of UMass Amherst.

For more information on application and selection criteria, visit the OFD website.
