Kendall C. Lincoln, 88, of Greenfield, a retired storekeeper, died Feb. 27.

Born Feb. 22, 1930, he was a 1949 graduate of the former Arms Academy in Shelburne.

He was employed at Millers Falls Tool Co. for 20 years. He joined UMass Amherst in 1970 as a janitor and within a few months became a laborer in central stores. He became a storeroom helper in 1972 and storekeeper in 1977, retiring in 1994.

He was an avid musician, playing accordion and organ.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Lucille (Karpinski) Lincoln; sons Gary Lincoln and wife Doreen Lincoln of Brattleboro, Vermont, and Robert Lincoln and his wife Karen Lincoln of Conway; daughters Helen Lincoln-White and her husband Chris White of Greenfield, and Mary Lincoln of Hyannis; and step-children Susan Unaitis, Richard Unaitis and Jon Unaitis.

There will be a celebration of his life on Sunday, March 25 from 2-5 p.m. at the Moose Lodge, 20 School St., Greenfield.
