Obituary: Jennie Brozo, Longtime Food Service Worker

Jennie Brozo, 94, of Tuners Falls, a longtime food service worker, died Jan. 26.

Born June 23, 1923 in North Amherst, she graduated from Amherst High School while working on the family farm. She joined UMass Amherst in 1958 as a part-time employee in food services, working in the Student Union, Hatch and other locations. She worked full-time, mostly in the Hatch and Blue Wall, from 1982 until retiring in 1995.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, Louis Brozo. She leaves her children Nancy Brozo, Martin Brozo and spouse Sheila Hunt and Louis Brozo Jr.; and a sister Mary Brozo.
