Obituary: Carol Stasz, Retired Clerical Worker

Carol (Baldyga) Stasz, 91, of Southampton, a retired clerical worker in several departments, died March 22.

Born May 29, 1926 in Easthampton, she received her associate degree in computer science from Fisher Junior College in 1985.

She worked for Hampshire County Extension from 1981-88. She returned to the university in 1991 in hotel, restaurant and travel administration, moving in 1994 to plant and soil science, where she retired in 2002.

She previously had worked at Williston Northampton School and was a real estate agent.

She leaves her sons Peter Stasz and his companion Iwona Boruch of Holyoke, Paul Stasz of Vancouver, Washington, and Edmund Stasz Jr. of Southampton; and her sister Irene Dzwil of Northampton.
