Nagurney Delivers Opening Keynote at International Transportation Conference

Anna Nagurney, the John F. Smith Memorial Professor at the Isenberg School of Management, delivered the opening keynote talk May 16 at the 18th Swiss Transport Research Conference in Ascona, Switzerland.

The title of her keynote was “Perishable Product Supply Chain Networks: The Role of Transportation.” She discussed a wide range of perishable product supply chain network models and applications ranging from food to healthcare, including blood supply and medical nuclear chains. The conference convened researchers and practitioners focused on the latest transportation topics and innovative technologies.

The conference was held at the conference center of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETHZ) at Monte Verità.
