Music and Dance Presents Final Orchestra Concert of the Season

Led by interim conductor Kristo Kondakçi, the orchestra will perform Brahms’s “Symphony No. 3 in F major,” Mozart’s “Magic Flute Overture” and an arrangement of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

On Monday, Dec. 9 at 7:30 p.m., the department of music and dance will present a performance by the UMass Amherst Symphony Orchestra, the university’s top orchestral ensemble.

Led by interim conductor Kristo Kondakçi, the orchestra will perform Brahms’s “Symphony No. 3 in F major, Mozart’s “Magic Flute Overture” and an arrangement of Queen’s “Bohemian Rhapsody.” 

The concert will take place in the Fine Arts Center Concert Hall. Ticket prices for this concert are $10 for the general public; $5 for students, seniors and UMass Amherst employees; and free for UMass students. Tickets may be purchased at the Fine Arts Center Box Office, by phone at 413-545-2511, or online.

The Fine Arts Center Concert Hall is located in the UMass Fine Arts Center, 151 President’s Dr., Amherst, MA.
