UMass hockey is ready to make its second NCAA tournament appearance in program history, as the Minutemen will be the No. 1 seed in the Northeast Regional at SNHU Arena in Manchester, New Hampshire when they take on No. 4 Harvard on Friday, March 29, at 3 p.m. The winner will advance to the Northeast Regional Championship to face either  Clarkson or Notre Dame the following evening at 6:30 p.m.

The game will be available on ESPN2 and WatchESPN.

UMass' first NCAA appearance came back in 2007, which opened with a 1-0 win over Clarkson in Rochester, New York, before falling to Maine, 3-1 in the East Regional final. The Minutemen are 1-6-1 all-time vs. Harvard and have not faced the Crimson since 2012 in Amherst.

Tickets for the Northeast Regional are available now, both as single session and all session options. UMass designated sections are 104, 105 and 106, available to general fans, Pond Club members and students, and fans are encouraged to purchase their seats in those sections where available.

UMass fans attending the game on Friday are welcome to attend a pre-game event at Central Ale House, located at 24 Central Street in Manchester, at noon on Friday.
