Mila Getmansky Sherman Speaking at TEDxEasthamptonWomen

Mila Getmansky Sherman, professor of finance in the Isenberg School of Management, will be among the featured speakers at the 2019 TEDxEasthamptonWomen “Bold + Brilliant” event on Saturday, Dec. 14.

Sherman will focus on women and how they can support each other to build stronger financial skills and social networks. The title of her talk is Risk Taking and Social Networks. Sherman is an advisor for Smart Women Securities at UMass and loves mentoring students and see them grow to become financially independent, socially responsible and strong women.

While the event in Easthampton is sold out, Isenberg will be hosting a livestream viewing party starting at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, in the Business Innovation Hub, room N135. The event is free and open to the public. Food will be provided.
