Master’s Student in Education Awarded Boren Fellowship

Theresa Austin, coordinator of the language, literacy and culture program in the College of Education is proud to announce that bilingual ESL and multicultural master’s student Glorimar Estevez has been awarded the 2021 National Security Education Program (NSEP) David L. Boren Fellowship.

According to Chelsea Sypher, senior director at the Institute of International Education in Washington, DC, Glorimar will attend the African Flagship Languages Initiative (AFLI) virtual summer program at the University of Florida as well as the official overseas fall AFLI program in Tanzania.
