Mass Aggie Home Gardener Series Kicks Off With a Virtual Workshop on Blueberries

AMHERST, Mass. – A virtual workshop, “All the Best About Blueberries,” is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon on Saturday, Jan. 23, as part of UMass Extension’s popular home gardening series presented by Mass Aggie Seminars 2021.

Blueberries are among the most popular fruits to grow in the home garden and are both healthful and well-suited to New England conditions.

Sonia Schloemann, a UMass Extension educator, will teach participants the basics about how to grow and prune blueberries in their home landscape. The virtual workshop costs $30, or $25 if payment is made by mailing in a check.
