Ezra Markowitz, associate professor in the department of environmental conservation, has been named to the newly formed American Psychological Association's (APA) Climate Change Task Force.

The task force is charged with reviewing APA’s past and current work on global climate change, recommending goals and strategies for future initiatives, and assessing and making recommendations regarding APA’s own energy use and sustainability practices.

The task force will pursue its work over the course of the next year and aims to strengthen role of psychology in addressing global climate change.
