Jeanne Ryan Named UHS Associate Director, Director of Clinical Services
Veteran health care administrator Jeanne M. Ryan has been named associate director and director of clinical services at University Health Services.
Ryan comes to UHS with more than three decades of administration and leadership experience in large urban areas and regionally.
She most recently served as director of hospice quality, education and compliance for VNA Care, Hospice and Palliative Care in Worcester, where she oversaw the quality of patient care through ongoing staff education, monitoring of agency systems and processes, and coordination of all continuous quality improvement projects.
Her background includes work as an independent post-acute care consultant; vice president of post-acute care and executive director for VNA and Hospice of Cooley Dickinson and Cross-Continuum Services in Northampton; rehabilitation manager for the Visiting Nurse Service of New York, New York; and chief of occupational therapy for Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.
She holds an MBA from Bay Path College in Longmeadow, a master’s in occupational therapy from New York University; and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook.
