Isenberg’s Hospitality and Tourism Management Program Opens Marriott Meals for the Spring Semester on Feb. 20
The Isenberg School of Management hospitality and tourism management (HTM) program opens Marriott Meals at the Marriott Center for Hospitality Management, located on the 11th floor of the Campus Center, to the UMass Amherst community and public on Feb. 20.
All meals are attentively managed, prepared and served by HTM students. Each week, students alternate roles within the “classroom” participating in every aspect of the restaurant business. Students deliver first-class dining experiences to guests for lunches and dinners; all menu items are served fresh-to-order.
Restaurant Operations Management is a core course within the HTM program at the Isenberg School of Management. The course, the motto of which is “Where your dining is our learning,” provides students the opportunity to manage the restaurant with a team of student employees in an exceptional management and interactive learning environment.
