The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is hosting an interactive virtual session on Friday, April 16 at 1 p.m. on keeping students engaged at the end of the semester.

In this session, the group will discuss strategies instructors can employ in their classes to help students remember what they have learned over the semester and promote students’ self-reflection.

The session will explore different activities instructors could use to help students connect the key knowledge and/or skills that they have learned in your course throughout the semester. These end-of-course activities are designed to promote students’ self-reflection on the learning achieved rather than simply their course grades.

In addition, how instructors could create space and time in the last class to celebrate students’ accomplishments and growth ending the semester on a high note will be discussed.

Registration and more information is available on the event page on the CTL website.
