iCons to Host ‘Idea Slam’ on the Epidemic of Student Anxiety

Members of the UMass community are invited to engage with like-minded peers to cultivate innovative solutions on “The Epidemic of Student Anxiety” at the 2024 UMass iCons Idea Slam, Tuesday, Oct. 22, from 6:30-8 p.m. in Integrative Learning Center (ILC) room S211. A welcome reception will be held beforehand at 6 p.m. outside ILC room N255.

UMass iCons hosts the annual event to explore complex real-world topics and problem-solving ideas with experienced professionals. This year’s event welcomes Melissa Rotkiewicz, director of the UMass Amherst Center for Counseling and Psychological Health, and Brian Pearson, founder of Adventure East.

Registration can be completed via the iCons Ideas Slam 2024 online form. Seating is limited and participants are encouraged to read the inception materials before the event, which can be found on the iCons event page.
