Helmer Recognized for Writing on Creating an Inclusive Syllabus
Kirsten Helmer, Director of Programming for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion with the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL), contributed a chapter on “Six Principles of an Inclusive Syllabus Design” to the book “Equity and Inclusion in Higher Education: Strategies for Teaching,” which has been selected as a finalist in the Education/Learning category for the Midwest Independent Publishers Association 2022 book awards.
