Sally Campbell Galman, professor of education, has released two new books: “Naptime at the OK Corral,” and the second edition of “Shane the Lone Ethnographer.”

The books offer methodological guidance for conducting ethnographic research through a creative and artistic lens. Ethnographic research is a qualitative method in which researchers observe and interact with their participants in their environments. These books walk the readers through ethnographic inquiry through comic characters.

“Naptime at the OK Corral” is nominated for the 2019 International Congress of Qualitative Inquiry book award. The award is conferred to books that signify major contributions to the field.
