Four Faculty Members Earn Appointments with Tenure, Two Awarded Tenure

Four faculty members were confirmed to appointments with tenure and two were awarded tenure following approval by the UMass Board of Trustees at its April 14 virtual meeting.

The following faculty were confirmed to appointments with tenure:

• Juan-Camilo Cardenas, professor, economics
• Kathryn Pitkin Derose, professor, health promotion and policy
• Jayati Ghosh, professor, economics
• Thaddeus Miller, associate professor, School of Public Policy and Administration

The following faculty were awarded tenure:

• Alexander Theodoridis, political science
• Ethan Zuckerman, public policy and administration
