Forcade Named A+ Award Recipient by Amherst Area Chamber

Carly Forcade, the Berthiaume Center for Entrepreneurship’s operations and student engagement specialist, is the 2019 Amherst Area Chamber of Commerce Young Professional Award recipient.

The award is part of the Amherst Area Chamber’s A+ Awards, which celebrate the achievements of community members and entities that contribute to the growth and well-being of the place they choose to live and work.

In her role at the Berthiaume Center, Forcade brings her knowledge of startups to students, being the founder of Travel Unicorn herself. The Travel Unicorn is an LGBTQ+ travel guide that connects travelers to safe destinations across the world.

Celebration to be held at Hadley Farms Meeting House on Thursday, Oct. 3 starting at 5 p.m. to honor the awardees.
