Flags Lowered for Lawrence Soldier

Gov. Charlie Baker has ordered that the U.S. and Commonwealth of Massachusetts flags be lowered to half-staff from sunrise until sunset at all state buildings on Tuesday, Sept. 14, the day of interment, in honor of Sgt. Johanny Rosario Pichardo USMC, of Lawrence, Massachusetts, who died on Aug. 26, in Kabul, Afghanistan.

Funeral Services for USMC Sergeant Pichardo will take place at Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence, Mass.
