Flags Lowered to Honor Veterans Who Died at the Soldiers' Home

Gov. Charlie Baker has ordered that the U.S. flag and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts flag be lowered to half-staff immediately until sunset on Sunday, April 5 at all state buildings and facilities, and hereby authorizes the same at all municipal and town properties and private institutions, as a mark of solemn respect and in honor of the U.S. armed forces military veterans and residents of the Soldiers’ Home who died this past week in Holyoke, Massachusetts.
