A three-week early registration period is now open for UMass Amherst faculty, staff and students interested in signing their children up for the UMass Department of Recreation & Wellbeing’s Multi-Activities Camp experience.

RecWell Multi-Activities Camp is an active, engaging program designed to help children build confidence, develop healthy habits and discover the joy of movement. Through a mix of sports, creative activities and wellness focused learning, campers spend each day exploring new skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.

At the heart of the camp are teamwork, personal growth and positive social interaction. Guided by certified staff, campers enjoy age-appropriate activities like swimming, field games, fitness activities, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures. Wellness concepts, such as positive thinking, foundational nutrition, and healthy decision-making are woven into the experience through fun, interactive activities kids can easily understand.

Two sessions of the camp are available: Session I runs Aug. 3-7; Session II runs Aug. 10-14. Each session runs Monday – Friday, from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. daily.

The early exclusive registration period for the UMass community ends March 2; registration for the greater public will be open March 3- June 1.

Registration is $350 per child per session and is open to students entering 2nd grade through students entering 6th grade. The registration fee includes daily lunch in UMass Dining Halls. Aftercare is available from 3:30-5:30pm for an additional $50 per child/per session.

More information on the camp and registration links can be found on the RecWell website.
