Donation Drive to Gather Food, Household Items for Students in Need

The annual Donation Drive to support the Student Food Pantry and the Student Care Supply Closet will be underway Monday-Friday from Nov. 26-Dec. 7.

Help students experiencing food and financial insecurity by donating non-perishable foods, toiletries and other household items.

Drop-off points are:

  • Whitmore 2nd Floor Lobby (10 a.m.-3 p.m.)
  • 317C Bartlett (4 p.m.-7 p.m.)

The most-needed food items include: pasta/pasta sauce, canned soup, cereal/oatmeal, peanut butter/jelly, rice/quinoa, beans (dry and canned) and snacks (popcorn, crackers, etc.)

The most-need non-food items include: body lotion, toothbrushes, baby items (powder, diapers, etc.), pads/tampons, paper towels/toilet paper, deodorant and disinfecting wipes.

The drive is sponsored by Alpha Phi Omega, the Student Government Association, the Graduate Student Senate and the Dean of Students Office.
