CTL Workshop: Facilitating Class Discussions in the GenEd Diversity Courses 

On Friday, April 14, from 1:30 to 3 p.m., the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) will host a Zoom workshop on “Facilitating Class Discussions in the GenEd Diversity Courses.”

This interactive session, co-sponsored by the General Education Council and the Center for Teaching and Learning, will equip participants with strategies to foster a collaborative learning environment where students of diverse perspectives learn to listen and communicate across differences while developing their critical awareness of how individual perspectives and biases influence ways of seeing the world (GenEd DU/DG Learning Outcomes).

Discover practical strategies for promoting critical thinking and active participation, regardless of class size or format, in-person, hybrid or flexible. Empower your students to be active listeners, effective communicators, and critical thinkers, while fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere in your classroom.
