On Friday, March 10, the Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) will host an online Zoom workshop, “Demystifying the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning (SoTL): What is it and why do it?” from 10:15-11:15 a.m.

This workshop will explore the scholarship of teaching and learning—the systematic study by instructors of processes and teaching and learning in the classroom. Through discussion and examination of SoTL artifacts, participants will learn about the five principles of good practice in SoTL, the benefits of engaging in SoTL research, types of SoTL projects, and ways to begin your SoTL journey even if you're not quite ready to conduct your own SoTL study. For more information and to register, visit the event page.
