COVID-19: Social Scientists' Views on the Pandemic’s Impact and What Comes Next

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences (SBS) is hosting an online discussion featuring multi-disciplinary experts on the current and future impact of COVID-19 on Tuesday, June 9 at 5:30 p.m.


Faculty panelists will cover topics including the particular vulnerabilities of veterans; the survival of small businesses; misinformation and disinformation; the effects on the presidential election; and short- and long-term effects on unemployment in the United States.

Participants are invited to submit questions for discussion upon registering; the panel will do their best to answer as many questions as possible in the time allotted.

There is no cost to participate.

Introductory remarks will be given by John Hird, dean of SBS.
