Nursing Opens Spring Seminar Series with “Engaging with Community: Purposeful Relations”

The College of Nursing will open its 2019 Spring Seminar Series with “Engaging with Community: Purposeful Relations,” a presentation by Rebecca Bialecki, on Tuesday, Feb. 12 from noon-1 p.m. in 101 Skinner Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Bialecki, the CEO of STAR Consulting, which supports non-profits throughout New England, holds a doctorate in clinical psychology and is a long-time community leader and rural activist for health and social justice. She previously served as executive director of the North Quabbin Community Coalition for over 14 years where she worked to promote a healthy community, focusing on areas of concern for the region such as transportation, health access, community development, child welfare and building resources.
