The College of Nursing is hosting Bridget Laudien, photographer and nurse, on Wednesday, March 11 from 8:30 to 11 a.m. in Bowker Auditorium in Stockbridge Hall for a talk on healing trauma through imagery.

Abigail Lydick, cancer survivor and project participant, will join Laudien to share her experience.

The event is part of the undergraduate course Nursing Introduction to Nursing Research, but it is free and open to the public.

Previously, the course has incorporated interdisciplinary perspectives from faculty in humanities and fine arts, including a discussion with Aston Mcculllough, assistant professor of dance science, about his qualitative methods and research on the effects of a group-based dance/movement program on physical and mental health in women who are survivors of domestic/intimate partner violence.
