Center for Teaching and Learning Hosting a Workshop on Supporting Student Well-being
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is hosting a workshop for faculty on supporting student well-being on Wednesday, March 9 from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
Faculty play an important role in co-creating environments of well-being for students but may feel uncertain about how to support students who are struggling, overwhelmed, distressed or even traumatized. Join Betsy Cracco, executive director for well-being, access and prevention; Jim Helling, clinical social worker, Center for Counseling and Psychological Health; and Kirsten Helmer, Center for Teaching and Learning; for this interactive session to talk about what you can do to help your students build persistence and support their psychological and physical well-being.

This event is co-sponsored by Student Affairs and Campus Life and the Center for Teaching and Learning.
