Center for Teaching and Learning to Host Workshop on Designing Memorable Lectures
The Center for Teaching and Learning (CTL) is hosting a workshop on explicit lecture design structures and strategies on Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the W.E.B. Du Bois Library, room 2601.
The interactive workshop will allow participants to:
- Discuss how to make lecture objectives more clear to students
- Explore class session structures and strategies supported by the science of learning
- Apply knowledge about directing student attention
- Commit to trying out one of the new teaching techniques introduced by the CTL staff and workshop participants.
This workshop will be led by CTL consultants Beth Lisi and Brian Baldi.
