Carbon Mitigation Taskforce Hosting Interactive Webinars

The Carbon Mitigation Taskforce (CMTF) will host three one-hour interactive webinars on UMass Amherst’s ongoing carbon mitigation planning. 

The carbon mitigation task force is looking for community input on the campus values that directs how UMass Amherst will become carbon neutral by 2030 and will be sharing the findings to date and the current trajectory of the plan with the community. 

The first part of the webinar will be a recorded and shared presentation from the committee and the second half of the webinar is an opportunity to share input and ask questions. 

The Carbon Mitigation Plan interactive webinar dates are:

• Thursday, Oct. 8, 7-8 p.m.
• Wednesday, Oct. 14, 7-8 p.m.
• Tuesday, Oct. 20, 1-2 p.m.

All three webinars are open to students, faculty, staff and alumni. Registrationis required and can be completed by following the links above.
