Campus Parking, Traffic Affected by Summer Conventions

Jehovah’s Witness Conventions, held each year at the Mullins Center, will begin Friday, Aug. 3. The events are scheduled from 8 a.m.-5 p.m., Friday mornings through Sunday afternoons.

Summer convention dates are:

• Aug. 3-5

• Aug. 10-12

• Aug. 17-19

Expect increased traffic throughout campus, especially on Commonwealth Avenue. Lot 25 permit holders should be aware that Lot 25 typically fills by 8:30 a.m. during these events. 

Any vehicle displaying a current year-long UMass parking permit may park in Yellow Lots (11, 12 or 13), Purple Lots (22, 44 or 49), or Green Lots (25, 26, 33). Other overflow parking for Lot 12/25 permit holders is available in Red Lot 45 (on the north side of Holdsworth Way, east of UMass Transit Services).
