Campus Fuel Station Intermittently Inaccessible
A project to repave the PVTA, transit compound and campus fuel station area is now underway and is expected to last into June 2021. During this time, the fuel station will be inaccessible intermittently and completely inaccessible for a to-be-announced two-week period.
During this time, if departments can be flexible, they should be able to access the campus fuel station at some point during the day or evening.
At any point during construction when the campus fuel station is unavailable, vehicles can be fueled at any off-campus fuel station, on Route 9 in Hadley or in Amherst, with the current WEX fuel card assigned to every vehicle. The same information, driver ID and odometer will be needed for off-campus fueling as for on-campus fueling.
Authorized fuel stations can be found via WEX onlines, using the zip codes of 01002 for Amherst or 01035 for Hadley: https://go.wexonline.com/external/accepting-locations?uri=public_gotoFlow.do%3F_flowId%3Dflow-acceptingLocationsPreLoginMgmt%26_flowExecutionKey%3De1s2.
When paving is underway, there will be no traffic allowed in the yard, until the asphalt has cured a bit. The exact date of pre-paving, paving/curing has not yet been announced.
