Call for Participation: OFD Internal Advisory Board

The Office of Faculty Development (OFD) is forming a new internal advisory board and is seeking expressions of interest from faculty and librarians across campus. OFD aims to provide a forum for faculty and librarians to share their ideas and perspectives with us over a two-hour lunch each semester. This input will help shape OFD priorities and programming.

  • Who is eligible to serve? All faculty and librarians, of any rank, are eligible to serve. We seek a diversity of voices from all corners of academic affairs. While associate deans for research will be included as de facto members, we intend to include up to two additional representatives per school/college (or other collaborative office).
  • What is the impact of your service? Members of the advisory board will have the ability to help shape the support provided to faculty by helping inform OFD priorities and programming. Top priorities will be shared with the schools and colleges – further extending your reach.
  • What is the time commitment? Members of the advisory board will serve a two-year term. Members will join one two-hour information sharing and brainstorming lunch per semester starting this spring.

Interested faculty and librarians should fill out the expression of interest form by Friday, Feb. 17.
