Board of Trustees Appoints Named Professorship, Awards Tenure

Elaine Ying Wang, Isenberg School of Management, was appointed to the James P. O’Connell Endowed Professorship in Accounting, following approval by the Board of Trustees at its Wednesday, April 13 meeting.

Sindiso Mnisi Weeks’s tenure was transferred from associate professor in the School for Global Inclusion and Social Development at the University of Massachusetts Boston to associate professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Massachusetts Amherst

Additionally, tenure was awarded to Lindiwe Sibeko, nutrition.
