Biostatistics to Host Seminar on Marginal Structural Models
The department of biostatistics and epidemiology, part of the School of Public Health and Health Sciences, will host a seminar, “Estimating MSM Parameters Using Instrumental Variables: Necessary Conditions and an Application,” to be given by Haben Michael, assistant professor in the department of mathematics and statistics, Friday Nov. 15 at 10 a.m. in Life Science Laboratories N210.
This talk will consider necessary conditions for identification of marginal structural models (MSM) parameters using IVs and describe estimation strategies, as well as estimating the effect of delivery hospital on neonatal outcomes.
