Anna Nagurney Appointed to Eugene M. Isenberg Chair in Integrative Studies

In an April 14 virtual meeting, the UMass Board of Trustees voted to name Anna Nagurney to the Eugene M. Isenberg Chair in Integrative Studies. She has been serving as the John F. Smith Memorial Professorship in Operations Management since 1998.

Nagurney has been at UMass Amherst since 1983 and is an internationally known scholar whose work includes constructing computer network models of large-scale financial, transportation and regional economic systems.
